*Please follow the steps in the How to Find Your Plugins in Sonar or Cakewalk by BandLab article. The stage I'm on now wants to use this new plugin, so any help here from the group is greatly appreciated! I've had issues with Waves plugins and CbB before and I really don't want to mess with that at this stage of the project I'm working on. #Waves central where are my waves plugins installed manual#I just hope the manual removal doesn't mess up my other Waves v9 plug-ins in the process. If not, I'll manually delete the above WavesShell file and try a reboot and reinstall. I'm going to see if the Waves Central interface has an uninstall feature and see if reinstalling and then scanning it works. Since I've already done all the first level troubleshooting this isn't really useful. I heard back from Waves support with the *below tier 1 reply. Glad to provide crash logs as this is infinitely and. Clearly there is something up with loading certain Waves plugins on first S1 start. Then load the song with the troublesome plugin and it will be fine as will the rest of your session until you restart S1 again. The 2nd image just shows that according to Waves Central it installed successfully. Workaround: load some song that doesnt have the current suspected Waves plugin. ![]() Every single one of my sessions that has Waves plugins on it is just a bunch of blank slots. #Waves central where are my waves plugins installed install#I had Waves V10 plugins working just fine, but was unable to install Waves V11. ![]() Honestly, I made a mistake in trying to install V11 at all, because there doesnt appear to be anything different. Everything seemed to have installed just fine, but when I opened PT it skipped loading Waves, and nothing loaded. I just got off my own support call with Waves for a similar problem, so Ill leave it here for anyone else who needs it. I reached out to Waves support again, and am still waiting to hear back, so I thought I'd ask the resident experts here!ÄȘnyone have any ideas! The first image is what was installed the date that I installed the plugin. So I uninstalled all the Waves plugs and Waves Central, and installed Waves Central 9.6 as suggested. Actually, most of them are not missing, but vst3 versions of SSL bundle, API Collection, CLA Vocals, and the Kings Microphones have gone missing, though the vst2 versions scanned fine. I also checked the excluded plugins and permanently excluded plugins. So I just updated Waves Central to v.11 (not my products, but just the Waves Central software) and now some of the vst3 versions of my Waves plugins are missing. I have other Waves plugins there and I have other SSL plugins there, but not this new E-Channel I just purchased. I already have the destination folders included in my VST scan folders in the CbB plugin utility, but it's not picking it up. I tried reaching out to Waves support to find out which default folders their plugins install to, since there is no information regarding that in the Waves Central interface.
